Day Walk: This walk around Colton is being led by Chris Wiggin. The walk starts at 10 00. It is an easy 8.5 miles walk on tracks, fields and a small section on a minor road. There are several stiles, but they are all in good condition. For parking details, please contact Chris.
Amble Ramble: This walk is being led by Pam Pathak. It is a fairly flat circular walk from Rising Brook towards Stafford Castle. It is just over 4 miles long and there are no stiles. The start time is 10 00. For further details, please contact Pam.
EMERGENCY CONTACT DETAILS: It is important that all walkers carry their emergency contact details.Those members who walked last Sunday will know that we trialled an arrangement whereby people signed in and entered their phone number and emergency contact, This turned out to be rather unwieldy and time consuming. and so we are looking at other methods. In the meantime, it would be helpful if walkers could do one or both of the following:
* Enter the ICE (In Case of Emergency) details on your phone by going to your contacts and clicking on the name required, scroll down to the bottom and click on “Add to Emergency Contacts”, choose which number and add relationship.
* Complete the SRG Emergency Medical Card, place in the plastic wallet and attach to your backpack.
